PERSONAL ASSISTANTS
Personal assistants can be invaluable resources for persons with autism and developmental disabilities. By providing essential personal care in both the home and out in the community as well as ensuring the safety and welfare of those they serve, personal assistants are available to help with all aspects of day to day life. Personal preference and trust are important considerations, and consumers may wish to consider program that allow them to select their own assistants.
