discuss ways to protect and ensure the welfare of children and adults affected
by autism. Our community first
responders – police officers, firefighters, emergency medical team workers and
hospital emergency room doctors and nurses – are the first ones we encounter
when faced with emergencies – they want to know what we need, as much as we
want them to know how to help our children – join the discussion on how we can
work together for the benefit of all! Welcoming Remarks by DCMH Commissioner Grant Mitchell, MD This is a free forum but attendance MUST be reserved in advance –
contact events@navigatingthespectrum.org
to reserve your seat!
11:00-12:00 – Resource Registry Professionals and agencies
specific to the ASD community are invited to register service information for
future use by Westchester County as part of an ongoing effort to identify
resources and provide services for families in need.

professionals to get comprehensive information about autism interventions, services and supports on Traditional Interventions and Educational Supports – Complementary and
